Your responsibilities:
- Laboratory work in the Microbiology Laboratory (S2 Laboratory)
- Planning, conducting, and documenting test series and experiments
- Statistical experimental design (DoE) as well as statistical analysis and interpretation of experimental data
- Synthesis of superabsorbents on a laboratory scale
- Development, optimization, and understanding of the manufacturing process
- Support for scale-up experiments
- Close collaboration with production, technology, and analytics in an international environment
- Preparation of lab journals, test reports, SOPs, and presentations
- Literature and intellectual property searches, as well as collaboration on patent applications
- Contribution to safety and process optimization
What you bring to the table:
- Successfully completed laboratory-related training and further education as a chemical technician (m/f/d)
- Strong interest in microbiology and chemical synthesis and manufacturing processes
- Affinity for statistical methods and data analysis
- Good technical understanding of processes
- A structured, independent, and meticulous approach to work
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners
- Ability to work in a team, willingness to learn, and initiative
